Dressmaker Details: Upholstery

This chair was found in an old garage with rotted beige fabric and a dried up hornet's nest under the seat. The owner would only sell one of the pair. We dressed it up in a luxurious Sea Green velvet and stained the legs a rich dark chocolate. A year later, we were able to procure the second chair and give it the same star treatment!

This grand old chair came to me wearing an old tattered suit of yellow roses. She now stands proud with an ever so soft coat of brushed velvet in the most sumptuous shade of seafoam green.
