Beautiful horizontal lines look fabulous against the original vertical box car siding running along the walls. The conch shells, found by the owner along a beach in Isla Mujeres, line a tall shelf with no visible means of support. Large pieces of art lean against the wall. They depict the deep pools of water that have carved their way through tunnels of limestone in Central Texas. They, along with the shells, give this whole scene an organic touch. Baskets for storage! One of my favorite pictures!
Shelves were built out of knotty alder to house this client’s large collection of flea market treasures. The top shelf floats effortlessly despite it’s heavy load of old glazed pottery in shades of chocolate and vanilla. A new window sheds light on all.
